Principals meet on new admissions
Admission of children to Grade 1 classes in National Schools in 2006
will be implemented according to a new system this year. The entire
process will be conducted under the Education Ministry's direct
intervention.
A special meeting to create an awareness among Principals of National
Schools about this new process will be held at the Education Ministry
Auditorium on April 4 at 9 a.m. chaired by Education Secretary Dr. Tara
de Mel.
All principals of National Schools attending this meeting should
bring along documents and files relating to the number of students in
parallel classes from Grade 1 to 12, list of names of teachers recruited
to the school from Colleges of Education, current teacher vacancies and
a certified list of excess teachers, said the Education Ministry in a
release. |
