Kadirgamar to feature in Hardtalk, other TV and radio interviews

Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar will be featured in a series of
television and radio interviews lined up during his visit to Britain to
thank its public for the support extended to Sri Lanka during the
tsunami disaster.
He will be the guest of Zeinab Badawi in Hardtalk tomorrow. The
programme will be aired over News 24 TV and BBC World TV.
The Foreign Minister will also meet Secretary of State for
International Development Hilary Benn tomorrow.
Kadirgamar will also be interviewed on Sunrise Radio, at the Carlton
Tower Hotel, Sky TV, Asia today (Thursday) BBC Radio, ITN channel 4
Deepam TV Sri Lankan channel transmitting also to Europe, and BBC World
Service radio.
The Minister's itinerary will also include a program at the
International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) and handing over to
IISS a cheque from Devonshire House followed by a private luncheon
reception at Arundel House. The Minister will also make an address at
the IISS on 'Sri Lanka's Foreign and Security
Policy' and field questions from the audience. The Minister will
attend a program at Oxford on Friday. |
