International image building campaign for apparel sector

The Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Investment Promotion for the Implementation of the International Image Building Campaign for the Apparel Sector on March 17.

The JAAF was established for the purpose of implementing the recommendations of apparel sector five year strategy. It has proposed the implementation of an International Image Building and Marketing Campaign , which would enhance the value of Sri Lankan Apparels. The country's apparel industry will face challenges with the phasing out of the Multi fibre Agreement this year.
