EDB seminar on Computer Aided Designing (CAD) for industrial designers The Sri Lanka Export Development Board in collaboration with Declam Software (India) will organise a seminar to introduce to Computer Aided Designing (CAD) for industrial designers. The seminar will consist of introductory sessions and demonstrations on "Computer Aided Designing" with the industry standard software, Delcam PowerShape. This will be held on today from 9.30 to 12.30 at the Hotel Taj Samudra conducted by Vineet Seth, the Country Manager (India and Middle East) of Delcam Software (India). The focus group of this seminar will be those engaged in the Ceramic industry. Nevertheless this technology is applicable to other Industrial designing areas such as toys, footwear, giftware and engineering products etc. The main objective of this event is to introduce state-of-the-art CAD technology to Sri Lankan Industries whereby they improve cost, quality, speed and flexibility, making them more competitive in the international market. |
