China 'strongly condemns' suicide bombing in Israel BEIJING, Sunday (AFP) - China on Sunday "strongly condemned" a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv that killed four Israelis and injured more than 50, saying it hoped it would not disturb peace efforts. "China strongly condemns the suicide bomb attack aimed at innocent civilians," foreign ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said in a statement posted on the ministry's website. "(China) sincerely hopes both Palestine and Israel will not be disturbed by it and adhere to their endeavors for the pursuit of peace," he said in the statement. |
