CSE K'gala branch opens today The Kurunegala branch of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) opens today with the participation of the senior officials of the CSE and its member stockbrokers. The CSE has set up this branch in a bid to broad base share trading in Sri Lanka with an investment of over Rs.10 million enabling online trading for investors in the area and facilitating them to obtain research information and placing orders. The branch will also conduct seminars and workshops to educate the public on the potential of share trading. Six Stock Brokers, Asha Philip Securities, D.P. Global Securities, HNB Stockbrokers, Bartleet Mallory Stockbrokers, Ceylinco Stock Brokers and Asia Securities will trade online from the Kurunegala Branch. CSE also has branches in Kandy and Matara. CSE Chairman Eraj Wijesinghe Director General of CSE, Hiran Mendis along with CSE Management will be present at the opening. |
