HNB and EPT Australia launch Cheques Imaging and Truncation Solution by Ramani Kangaraarachchi Hatton National Bank (HNB) will create a quality self-service system for its customers by implementing ONE-PASS Cheque Processing Solution jointly with Enhanced Processing Technologies (EPT) Australia. General Manager CEO HNB R Thayagaraja said on Wednesday that the EPT solution enables to provide speedy clearance and access to electronic copies of customers cheques". Therefore this partnership will develop value addition service to the bank and the customer" he said. The solution will enable HNB to lead the way into the latest banking developments and shorten processing time frames by electronically imaging and truncating cheques for clearance. EPT's ONE-PASS System is a fully integrated Document Imaging, Data Capture, Workflow, and Image Archive solution. The system provides a sophisticated and efficient means for POD (Proof of Deposit) Processing. In clearing , and Lockbox Remittance without large administrative overhead or complexity of operations providing for a total hardware/ software solution. EPT also announced a local partnership with Interblocks Ltd, who were introduced by Austrade (Australian Trade Commission), a leading product development company in the financial market place. |
