113th Golf C'ships Tsunami, sadly having done its worst has come and gone, and it's unhealthy now to continue to wallow in the misery of it all - but rather to pick ourselves up, to hopefully move on positively. This perhaps is the thinking of the Sri Lanka Golf Union, whose 113th Sri Lanka Amateur Golf Championships and the Sri Lanka Ladies Open Amateur Championship that was to take place in mid and the latter part of January had to be postponed due to the 'tsunami' disaster. Both significant tournaments in the golfing calendar of the SLGU, will now be concurrently held from the 16th to 19th March 5 at the RCGC. - (RD) |
