NCE HRD Division expands range of programs The HRD Division of the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) is today one of the leading quality training providers in the country and has expanded its comprehensive range of programs and activities to include quality Courses in Computing at all levels to suit school-leavers to Managers, and comprehensive e business services for private and state sectors establishments. Commenting on the expansion Patrick Amarasinghe, the architect behind the HRD Division said that he was very pleased as the need for the type of services provided, were open ended as far as the business community was concerned. Reiterating his earlier expressions he said "HRD specialist Nihal Rangala who heads the Division has a penchant for adopting any program that would uplift the scope and standard of the Division". We have worked together for almost eight years during which period Rangala emerged an icon in the HRD field. I am indeed gratified that we have expanded our activities into the ICT field considering the fast emerging demand for this input". He said priorities were being realised in a persistent effort to augment the efficiency of our most valuable asset, the Human Resources available in the country while enhancing productivity. Rangala said that the NCE HRD Division offered the widest range of high quality, non technical, management related program, and sooner than later would emerge a "one stop" outfit for business services. Considering the growing importance of Computer literacy in almost all commercial activity, there was a void in the Division that had to be addressed to comply with market demands. This was realised through a "link up" with the Ceylinco NetAssist, a Microsoft Certified Training Provider associated with the prestigious NetAssist International, an advanced Training and Certification Provider for Microsoft. |
