Relief website launched

Ministry of Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation has launched its new website www.mrrr.lk with a special focus on Tsunami relief operations. The site will supplement the Centre for National Operations (CNO) website www.cnosrilanka.org which coordinates all relief activities related to the Tsunami rehabilitation.

Ministry's main focus lies in providing relief to the North and East and rehabilitation of the victims of the war and rehabilitation of tsunami victims in the affected areas.

The site will carry dynamic updates of the death toll; maps of affected areas and relief assistance provided by the ministry and will carry information on the principal projects carried out in the North East, states a press release from the Ministry of Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation.
