IMSL appeal for affected entrepreneurs in SMEs

The Institute of Management of Sri Lanka at an emergency meeting of the Council noted that IMSL members, students and its Institutional and organisational members, are actively engaged in providing relief work to their brothers and sisters, who were affected by the recent tsunami disaster.

It observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to all deceased persons, including all professionals, and others.

It also expressed its deepest sympathies and condolences to all such parties affected.

The Institute also appreciated the efforts and sacrifies of its members, students, member Institutions and organisations for their utmost dedication in providing relief work.

The Institute appeals to the closest Chamber of Industry/Commerce to extend their professional services and encouragement wherever possible to those affected entrepreneurs in SMEs entrepreneurs of small and medium scale, to restart their businesses/activities and to guide them for sometime on a voluntary basis to ensure its success.
