Bush, father, Clinton to urge U.S. relief aid WASHINGTON, Monday (Reuters) President George W. Bush and two former U.S. presidents, George Bush and Bill Clinton, will make a joint appeal on Monday for Americans to contribute money to help victims of the South Asia tsunami, the White House said. The trio were to appear in the White House Roosevelt Room at 10:15 a.m. EST (1510 GMT) to "lead an effort to encourage the American people and American businesses" to offer private contributions, said White House spokesman Scott McClellan. |
