Sri Lanka Insurance ties up with VFS

Sri Lanka Insurance entered into a three-year partnership with VFS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd recently. VFS is an outsource agency specialising in supporting Diplomatic Missions in handling various administrative processes in relation to visa applications.

Under the association, besides providing a range of various insurance covers to VFS, Sri Lanka Insurance will also promote among the applicants various insurance policies that are beneficial to those travelling abroad such as travel insurance and health insurance.

These policies are designed to mitigate the various risks faced by the traveller such as loss of baggage and hospitalisation.

A special counter at the VFS office in Colombo was also set up by Sri Lanka Insurance to enable visa applicants to obtain insurance facilities at their convenience.

The association which is aimed at providing a personalised service to visa applicants will be further enhanced with the introduction of many other benefits and facilities to travellers in the near future.
