Citrix Systems in strategic ties in Lanka Citrix Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, yesterday outlined its growth strategy and plans for Sri Lanka to enhance its quality service and support for local customers. Citrix Systems also outlined strategic relationships with DMS Electronics (DMSE) and Computer Systems Ltd. (CSL) through Citrix's Solution Advisor Program. As Citrix authorised channel partners, DMSE and CSL will work together with Citrix to promote and sell Citrix access infrastructure software solutions. "Citrix Systems is committed to investing in Sri Lanka, a region whose technology industry has shown significant growth over the last few years," Souma Das, Managing Director, Citrix India told a press conference at the Taj Samudra. "Our new Solution Advisors and increased focus in Sri Lanka will allow us to better assist customers in solving IT challenges related to information access. Our access solutions can enable Sri Lanka companies to expand their operations more quickly and effectively as they drive the economic engine in the country." Das said "Citrix Systems has one of the most comprehensive channel programs in the industry. We are delighted to welcome CSL and DMSE as new members of our Citrix Solution Advisor program. We plan to leverage their enterprise reach and high-quality skill sets to build a highly satisfied customer base in the markets where they operate. Kshanika Ratnayaka, Director and CEO of Computer Systems Ltd., and Lal Chandranath, Director, DMS Electronics, endorsed the partnership, reinforcing the benefits Citrix access infrastructure solutions would bring to enterprise customers in Sri Lanka. In a joint statement they said, "Our organisations are proud to be a part of the Citrix Solution Advisor Program. Citrix access infrastructure software solutions help companies reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), improve application access and performance, and simplify administration - thereby increasing the return on investment (ROI). This relationship with Citrix will help us enhance the value of our offering to our customers". The overall access infrastructure market is expected to exceed $21.6 billion in 2007, Ratnayake said. This view of the access infrastructure market, including its size and forecasted growth, was developed using research from several sources including IDC and META Group, both leading market research firms.
