Sri Lanka is participating in the Bangalore IT.Com 2004, one of India's biggest IT trade show and conferences which began on November 1, in Bangalore in India. It will continue till November 5.

Bangalore IT.Com is an international event annually hosted by the Department of IT of Karnataka State Government in partnership with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

The objective of the event is to provide opportunities for the ICT companies to showcase their products and services and to enable networking among the ICT companies of the world.

The countries participating in the event include Malaysia, USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Oman and Belgium. Over 150,000 visitors are attending this event, including 40,000 business visitors.
