Madras & CRC in line for honours in FEARA Regatta

By Richard Dwight

The teams, of the Madras Boat Club and the Colombo Rowing Club, have made quite an impression in the Far East Amateur Rowing Association regatta, to forge ahead, having got past the quarter-final and semi-final stage and, to be in the reckoning for rowing supremacy in the finals today on the banks of the CRC.

The Colombo Rowing Club, the venue for this historic FEARA regatta, which began with the preliminaries on Thursday was a hive of activity amongst the oarsmen/women of CRC, Madras Boat Club (MBC) Karachchi Boat Club (KHIA), The Rowing and Canoeing Club Myanmar (MYM) and the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club (RHKYCA). The chief guest at today's final will be the H. E. the Ambassador for China.
