Each talk was followed by a Question-and-Answer session between the lecturer and the audience.

Approximately 100 registered SLAHAB members as well as teams from Taiwan, Pakistan and India participated at this highly informative seminar, which focused on garnering proficiency in technical haircutting and styling techniques (where entrants create an artistic haircut with value on technique that is also creative).

While also developing skilfullness in hair colouring and commercial haircuts and styling techniques (where participants create a consumer wearable haircut with a commercial value).

Furthermore, SLAHAB will also be inviting one of India's finest make-up specialists, Cory Wallia to conduct a seminar and workshop on "Make-up Techniques" on September 19, 2004. This will provide additional training to SLAHAB members for the forthcoming competitions.

Hair Asia Pacific 2004, the prominent eighth international hair and make-up competition, will be held at Shanghai, China between October 12 to 14, 2004. This annual contest for hairstylists and beauty experts will be endorsed by P and G Beauty. Over 300 contestants from 14 countries will view for coveted awards in eight categories.
