COMBank opens 123rd branch in Deniyaya The Commercial Bank of Ceylon recently opened its 123rd branch in Deniyaya. The Deniyaya Branch is connected to all other Commercial Bank branches, MiniCom Centres at Cargills Food City outlets and Service Points at Arpico Supercentres, through ComNet and has its own teller machine which is the 178th teller machine the Bank has installed. Commercial Bank's Chairman Mahendra Amarasuriya said that the people of Deniyaya make a vital contribution to the country's economy through their involvement in the plantation sector. "This is one of the main reasons for extending our support by providing our services and expertise, to this area." "We are delighted to have been able to reach people in all parts of Sri Lanka and we will continue to provide excellent products and services which would satisfy varying financial requirements of our customers," he said. Commercial Bank's Deniyaya Branch Manager, Jayantha Samarasinghe said that the customers in Deniyaya can now enjoy the services of a bank which has been rated the Best Bank in Sri Lanka, for several years consecutively. Customers in Deniyaya can also benefit from the e-banking service, which allows them to check balances in their current or savings accounts and credit cards and settle utility bills from any location via the Internet. They would also have access to the ComSMS service, which allows customers to check their account balances, transfer funds and check Commercial Bank International Credit Card balances via their mobile phones. The Bank also offers varied products such as the Progressive Saver Account, 'Nivahana' housing loans, Diribala development loans, Arunalu, Isuru and DotCom accounts for minors and teenagers.
