SACEP invites applications for Director-General's post South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) Secretariat in Colombo is now receiving applications for the post of Director-General. It is in response to a decision that this post should be filled on merit basis, through open competition for a non-renewable term of three years. The selection would be from a wider catchment covering all member countries of SACEP, a press release said. SACEP is an Inter-governmental Organisation established by the countries of South Asia in 1982 with Headquarters in Colombo, Sri Lanka to promote and support protection, management and enhancement of environment in the region. Its member countries are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SACEP is also the Secretariat of South Asian Seas Programme. |
