BASL takes Editors Guild to task The Bar Association of Sri Lanka has written to the Editors Guild informing it that proceedings of the BASL are not conducted to satisfy the Editors Guild. The letter signed by Secretary Bar Association of Sri Lanka Anoma Goonetilleke states: "You may also please note that the Bar Association of Sri Lanka is least concerned with your views on the proceedings held by the Bar Council of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and whether or not you and your Guild accept the proceedings held by us. Your observations and/or your views on matters referred to in your letter, are totally irrelevant to us. Hence, as the Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, I will not waste any more time on the contents of your letter." |
