Sri Lanka to play test series in Pakistan in October KARACHI, Tuesday (Reuters) Sri Lanka have agreed to play a two-test series in Pakistan in October, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Tuesday. Sri Lanka, who are already playing a triangular one-day series against Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Pakistan in October, added the test matches after Bangladesh agreed to postpone their scheduled home series against Sri Lanka until next year. "They (Sri Lanka) had said they could not play the tests because they were to tour Bangladesh in October and November this year," PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan said on Tuesday. "But now they are coming (because) Bangladesh have agreed to host them next year in February." The triangular series is scheduled from October 1-16, with the test matches tentatively set to begin on October 20. |
