News Business Features Editorial Security Politics World Letters Sports Obituaries | Investment of Non-Ferrous metal refiners insured Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama has insured the investment of Non-Ferrous metal refiners when he met the members of Indo-Sri Lanka Non-Ferrous Metal Refiners Association to discuss the issues made by the other Indian primary copper producers against refiners. This meeting was held recently at the Finance Ministry between the Minister and Ramesh Goel, Chairman of the Indo-Lanka Non-Ferrous Metal Refiners Associations, Secretary Manoj Kedia and Executive member Rajat Jain. The Minister said he was satisfied with these investments adding that these companies smoothly operating under Sri Lankan rules and regulations did not violate the law. Dr. Amunugama has also promised them that the government will provide them with all safeguards against wrong complaints and other effects to safeguard these genuine investments. Dr. Amunugama invited the members of the association to bring more investments to Sri Lanka. |
