Betting racket on Asia Cup AJMER, India, Wednesday (PTI) Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a big racket of betting on Asia Cup cricket matches by arresting five persons. Police raided their satta den in Imli Mohalla on Tuesday evening and nabbed the five persons who had come from Jaipur to settle accounts. Besides Rs 30,00 in cash and betting slips, five mobile phone sets and three audio cassettes were also seized from the arrested persons, police said. The group was reportedly running the betting racket from Jaipur and its connections were spread in different parts of the state. |
