Virgin Atlantic honours cargo agents Virgin Atlantic Cargo and General Sales Agents International Airline Services honoured the top ten local cargo agents. 'The awards were presented to Hemas International freight, Ace Cargo, Scanwell Logistics, Roton Vander Freighting, Expolanka Freight, UTI Pership, Pepublic Cargo system, DRH Logistics Lanka, Sass Logistics International and ATE Lanka by Pavl Fallown, overseas Business executive of the Airline. The main commodity airfreighted was garments to six major cities in the USA. Virgin Atlantic Airways has become Britain's second largest long-haul airline serving the world's major cities. Virgin Atlantic Cargo has grown from strength, to strength with facilities at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Prestwick airports in the UK and 59 offices spanning over 35 countries. Virgin Atlantic Cargo offers a flexible and personalised service to all customers. As a result of listening and learning from customers over the years, a Must Ride service has been created. Must Ride service is a guaranteed service for urgent and perishable shipments which have not been carried on booked flight. These shipments would be carried free of charge on the following flight. The Airline has recently announced it is embarking on a period of sustained growth which will feature the launch of a series of new routes and an increase in services to the US, Caribbean, Asia and the Far East. |
