The Colombo Bourse which has been on a bullish run during the last few days witnessed profit taking yesterday. The trading which started to increase slipped later. According to stock brokers, investor sentiment remain high and the market would go through a technical correction soon.

The All Share Price Index was up at 1,406.12 points from 1,402.76 on Wednesday. The Milanka Price Index increased to 2,142.58 points from 2,141.03 points.

The turnover for the day was Rs 364,534,681. Distilleries, Blue Diamonds, Bogala Graphite and Kahawatta were the top five gainers.
