Children take the lead in Business Young Entrepreneurs Sri Lanka (YESL), the Leader in Business, Economic and Entrepreneurial Education will prepare young children to brave the free enterprise system. The seventh annual national launch of YESL - School company program will be held at Musaeus College, Colombo 7, on Sunday, July 18. Rendezvous Company Musaeus College is hosting the event with Prof. Jagath Wickramasinghe Director-General National Institute of Education as the Chief Guest and John Varley Chief of Party/Project Director - The Competitive Initiatives (TCI) as the Guest of Honour, The Launch will be from 9.00 am to 10.30 am. Leadership Training for school company officials will be held at the College hall from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm the same day hosted by Dynamic Company of Musaeus College. The Launch will be attended by 300 student leaders following the entrepreneurial training program conducted in schools, and 50 teachers and invitees from business. The Leadership training is for the Company officials. The following guest speakers will conduct the training: Harshana Dasanayake, Asst. HR Manager Dialog GSM will present - Steps Towards Building a Positive Personality. Jayadeva Silva of IPM on Revolution of Marketing and the People Factor in Marketing, Nilooka Disanayake, Chief Editor and Managing Director Athwela on Business Plans and Annual Reports and Siddique Ahmad of Browns and Alumni JA on Entrepreneurial Leadership. Rendezvous and Dynamic of Musaeus College, meet their business colleagues from over 40 schools, representing all parts of the country. They showcase their business activities, holding a trade fair and exhibition. |
