Kalam new Chairman CMA

National Unity Alliance (NUA) Spokesman, Attorney-at-Law M. M. Abdul Kalam assumed duties as the new Chairman of Condominium Management Authority (formerly Common Amenities Board) with immediate effect.

Abdul Kalam is a board member of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. He is also a journalist, broadcaster and writer etc.

He was a founder member of the SLMC and served as its policy propaganda secretary during the period of late M.H.M. Ashraff. He has served as the General Manager of the Sri Lanka Shipping Corporation. He was the founder member of the FAMYS and has participated in many international conferences.

"My leader Minister Ferial Ashraff has entrusted a responsible task to me Condominium Management Authority is a new concept.

I will try my best and use all my capabilities to give an efficient service to the countrymen," stated Kalam on visiting the CMA head office, Colombo 2 on June 23.
