Trade delegation leaves for Mauritius

An eight-member trade delegation led by D. Eassuwaren from Eswaren Brothers Exports (Pvt) Ltd and Honorary Consul will leave for Mauritius on July 5. The delegation is organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

The main objective of this delegation is to strengthen trade ties, establish business links, and source suitable business partners for trade, investment, joint ventures and services. The delegation would assist in expanding the existing business contacts and penetrate the Mauritius market.

Among the other participants are: P. Jayamanne from DPJ Holdings, Shazly Oowise from E-wis, Manikkawasam from Prabha Trading, Jit WarnaKulasuriya from Just in Time (Pvt) Ltd, Kris Talagala from Informatics, A.M. Ismail from ETA Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and V.A. Maduraiveeran from Mvee's Knit Exports (Pvt) Ltd.

The group will have one to one discussions with their Mauritius counterparts about joint ventures and other trade links between the two countries on Information Technology, Garment and Textile Industry, Label Printing and Telecommunication.

The delegates will visit BOI of Mauritius, FTZ, and Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and meet several key ministers of the Mauritius Government.
