AUSTIN - NORA Beloved wife of the late Dr Drogo Austin and much loved mother of Carole, Jeanne and Nigel, passed away peacefully on Saturday 15th May at the age of 91 years. 'Mum' was greatly blessed by the love and affection of her devoted staff, caring neighbours, numerous friends, the fraternity of Doctors who had been closely associated with 'Dad' and many others, who brought her so much happiness and companionship, particularly in her latter years. The family are deeply grateful to them all. A private funeral took place on Saturday 15th May. "Noralyn", 102, Cameron Place, Colombo 3.

DIAS - MAJOR JOSEPH PETER EDWARD (Former Teacher, St Peter's College), passed away peacefully on 8th May 2004, in London UK. Beloved husband of Katie, loving father of Cholmondeley, Yvonne, Lorraine, Phyllis, Marion, Lancelot, Elaine, Alex, Marina and a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather; beloved brother of Eva, Bede, Margie, Jean, Reenie and the late Charlie, Lou, Bertie and Austin, father-in-law of Juliet, Trevor, Ananda, Wijit, Manel, John and Deepthi. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on 19th May 2004, at the Sacred Heart Church, Edgehill, Wimbledon London SW19. 62, Littleton St London SW18 3SY. (Foreign papers - please copy)
