Golfers Kumara and Chandradasa for Malaysian open by Richard Dwight Lalith Kumara, the reigning amateur golf champion of Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, will along with compatriot Tissa Chandradasa, a leading golfer - leave on May 17 to participate in the Malaysian Open Amateur Golf Tournament from May 20 to 24, at the Kuala Lumpur Country Club, Malacca, Malaysia. This stroke play championship of 4 rounds will witness around 150 golfers, drawn from countries like India, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, England, Australia and a few more, vying for championship honours. Kumara and Chandradasa who represent the Sri Lanka Golf Union, will with other contenders also take part on May 24 in a tournament conducted by the Sanjuam Golf Club. Both Sri Lankan golfers will return on May 28. |
