The increasing need for good leadership, vision of the management team Globalisation and innovation were all inherent concerns of business leaders said Prof. Arnoud De Meyer, Deputy Dean INSEAD, who was chief guest at the CIMA Janashakthi Pinnacle awards ceremony recently.

Awards also included outstanding achievements in diverse corporate planning and recognition of senior management placings in the business world who had made an outstanding difference to their areas of proficiency.

"This event would portray excellence and dedication at a high level and be the forerunner for future recognition at similar events, said Pravir Samarasinghe, President CIMA Sri Lanka Division, in his welcome address.

The Gold award for the young CIMA star of the year, was won by Sulakshana Dias Abeygunawardena. Thivanka Ranagala won the gold award for the CIMA business manager of the year.
