Wickremasinghe Manager The Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka has appointed ASP W.N.S.W. Wickremasinghe as the manager of the national football team for their 2006 World Cup Asia Zone qualifying round clash against Saudi Arabia to be worked off at the Sugathadasa Stadium today. Wickremasinghe represented the Sri Lanka youth teams from 1976 to 1978 and also represented Sri Lanka Police SC from 1982 to 1985. He followed the Football Confederation 'C' licence coaching course in 2003 and is a member of the Sri Lanka Football Association. Wickremasinghe is an executive committee member of the Nuwara Eliya/Hatton Football League and was responsible in the development of school soccer in Trincomalee while serving as ASP Mutur. |
