Dayasritha Tissera former Member of Parliament and candidate for Puttalam District said so at a meeting held at Kahatawila in the Wennappuwa electorate in support of the United People's Freedom Alliance candidate of the Puttalam District.Tissera said that they would form a government on April 2 in combination with North and East Parliamentarians elected to the Parliament at the election, but this saying would be non fruitful because the UNPers who are contesting the general election cannot walk on roads due to death threats. Former Provincial Council Member and the Provincial Council candidate Malraj Peris, former Opposition Leader Wennappuwa Pradeshiya Sabha and candidate for Puttalam District Travin Fernando, former Pradeshiya Sabha Member Kithsiri Abeywickrama and several others also spoke. |
