Reference the news item headlined 'Election Eve Shocker' appearing on the front page of yesterday's Daily News Shafeek Rajabdeen has in a letter to the Editor said he totally denies the allegations.

"This is an attempt by my political opponents to assassinate my character on the eve of my sure victory as a Member of Parliament representing the UNF in the Colombo district,Rajabdeen said.
