New premises

The College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka involved in the professional and academic development of surgeons, moved to a new premises, at No. 6 Independence Avenue, Colombo 7.

This new premises will help the college in providing many facilities needed for academic development and training of young surgeons, not only in Sri Lanka but also for those in the SAARC region.

This premises was donated by the late Dr. Noel Bartholomeusz and his wife Nora Bartholomeusz.

The premises named - Noel and Nora Bartholomeusz Foundation was opened by Anne Ranasinghe. A book on Dr. Noel Bartholomeusz was also officially launched.
