Lingzhi coffee in Sri Lanka to brew Ganoderma's mushroom magic

The centuries-old therapeutic magic of the Ganoderma mushroom, ranked by the ancients of China and Japan as the king of some 38,000 varieties of mushroom found on the planet, will soon be just a sip away for Sri Lankans.

A local company, Magnum Investments (Pvt) Ltd., sole authorised stockist for Malaysia's DXN Marketing Sdn. Bhd., (www.dxn2u.com) has introduced 'Lingzhi' coffee as a convenient and effective conduit for the ingestion of this near miraculous herb.

A pre-mix of high grade Brazilian instant coffee and Ganoderma powder, Lingzhi (which means 'long life' in Chinese) coffee will be available in 3-in-1 sachets containing the coffee, sugar and low fat creamer, providing health conscious consumers with a beverage that will help blood circulation and enhance the immune system, the product's promoter said.

Ganoderma (Botanical name: Ganoderma Lucidum) also known by its Japanese name 'Reishi' contains over 200 active elements such as polysaccharides, triterpenoids, organic Germanium, adenosine, Ganoderic essence, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins and fibre.

Consistent use of this wonder mushroom regularizes microcirculation in all parts of the body, helping to increase absorption of nutrients in to tissue cells and to remove toxins, carbon dioxide and other waste products from the body.

"This results in an enhancement of the overall well-being of the consumer, with amazing therapeutic effects," Magnum Investments Business Development Manager Virginia Corera explained. "DXN's portfolio of 40 plus products containing Ganoderma extract are now selling in more than 30 countries including USA, and has been recognized as a possible single solution for multiple problems, improving overall health, enhancing stamina and promoting longevity".

The manufacturer of the coffee and other Ganoderma-based products, DXN of Malaysia is an ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 14001 certified company which has also received an internationally valid Chemical Analysis Certificate.

The Ganoderma mushrooms are cultivated in sterile conditions in the company's own organic farms in Malaysia. Founded by Dr. Lim Siow Jin who was conferred a PhD in Holistic Medicine by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines for his extensive research into the medicinal and nutritional values of Ganoderma, DXN is a 'One Dragon' company which owns and controls every stage of its business, from plantation, processing, manufacturing, packaging and marketing.
