Sathosa Retail's Supermarket chain and retail stores are back among consumers' preferred retail outlets after it was taken over by three leading local companies in November 2003, a spokesman for the Commerce Ministry said.

Sathosa supermarket shelves and retail stores are well stocked with products and customers are fast returning to their trusted chain. Sathosa Retail is continuing in the tradition of low prices and customers from all walks of life are enjoying wholesale prices for essential items such as rice, flour, sugar, B onions, and lentils.
