Drop in UAE job market feared:

Foreign Employment Agencies perturbed over new SLFEB insurance policy

The Foreign Employment Agencies in Sri Lanka fear a drop in the job market in the UAE as a result of the newly introduced insurance policy by the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB).

A number of Recruiting Agencies have found that employers in UAE were reluctant to offer job opportunities to Sri Lankans as this new insurance scheme has become an extra burden to them.
