Special Task Force (STF) Commandant, Deputy Inspector General of Police Nimal Lewke recently visited North-East on a inspection tour including Batticaloa and Ampara.

DIG Lewke inspected the security arrangements in Wellaweli, Badulla Junction camp and several other main points in the North East.

STF DIG also had several discussions to ascertain the present situation in those areas with the other senior officers.
