Finance Minister K. N. Choksy yesterday appointed Public Enterprises Reform Commission (PERC) Chairman Chrisantha Perera as Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon.

Perera resigned from the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation as its Chairman after it was privatised. Later he was appointed Chairman of PERC. Perera is also Chairman of Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd.
