Slender lead for Western Province

Western Province held onto a slender 1.020 points lead over North Central Province after completing all their league fixtures in the TenSports Provincial Cricket Tournament.

Western finishes with two outright wins and two defeats. North Central with a game in hand are lying second and have a chance of qualifying for the final.

Third place Southern Province have also completed all their fixtures and are out of the final. Central Province and Uva Province are other contenders for the final.

The points table of the provincial tournament on matches concluded upto 27th January 2004.
