D-Link updates networking skills in Lanka Debug Computer Peripherals (Pvt) Ltd in corporation with D-Link (India) Ltd conducted a workshop for network engineers and technicians on installing structured cabling system for both copper and fiber products recently. This training was conducted by General Manager, Shekhar Kulkarni and Manager Technical Support and Training Srikant Telharkar of D-Link India. The training sessions focussed on the concepts and terminology of Structured Cabling System and familiarization of the product and test equipment. A thorough explanation of the copper media products consisting cabling, cross connect components such as fiber cable, connectors, termination equipment, splicing was also delivered. The three day seminar course was coordinated Team Leader Siraj Jabeer. D-Link certified cabling integrator certificates were awarded for participants after a case study and examination. To keep pace with the standard of changing technolgy, D-Link, India will conduct similar seminars and product displays future in Sri Lanka.
