Equipment supplies to Sirimavo Bandaranaike Hospital: Massive Rs. 285m fraud bared A massive fraud costing the state Rs. 285 million has been bared
following a probe into a contract for supplying medical equipment to the
Sirimavo Bandaranaike Children's Hospital, a Committee appointed by the
UNF government had revealed. LTTE boycotts donor meeting for third time by Ranga Jayasuriya The LTTE will not attend today's donor meeting in Colombo, a follow up

states that 709 children have been recruited by the LTTE during 2003 alone
adding that they had information that at least 1,301 children were still
in the LTTE. Citizenship applications only on prescribed format The Ministry of Internal Security referring to media reports regarding
a directive issued by the President pertaining to citizenship grant states
that the President only stressed on the need for persons of Indian origin
