Anushka and Dharshani Trinco's TT champions Trincomalee correspondent The resuscitated Trincomalee District Table Tennis Association under the presidentship of Superintendent of Police Daya Samaraweera organised and conducted an school open TT tournament in Trincomalee after a lapse of almost two decades. The Tournament was conducted at St. Joseph's College Auditorium, DIG Neville Wijesinghe participated as the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony and Secretary of the Sri Lanka Table Tennis Association participated at the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the awards. St. Mary's College took the major honours in the tournament. Anushka de Silva of Ceylinco Insurance and Dharshani Mahendran of St. Mary's College clinched the Men's Open and Women's Open Title respectively. |
