Sri Lanka - India Strategic Dialogue The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) in collaboration with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), New Delhi is organising a two-day seminar on "Sri Lanka - India Strategic Dialogue" on December 4 and 5 at the BMICH. The new Council of Management of the BCIS, headed by Lakshman Kadirgamar, P.C., M.P., will make the BCIS a platform for debate/discussion on subjects of common interest, by way of its contribution to enhance knowledge in related disciplines and to help resolve national issues. The seminar is the first in a series to be organised alternatively in Sri Lanka and India, and is aimed at discussing bilateral issues; security, military, economic, trade, technology and politics, in the backdrop of the ongoing peace process in Sri Lanka. Six eminent Indian scholars, will be the lead speakers and main resource persons for the seminar. |
