Open Amateur golf in Nuwara Eliya

The 112th Sri Lanka Amateur Open Championships will be feed off at the Asia's celebrated Golf course in Nuwara Eliya from November 22 to 29.

There will be a large participation of golfers from Sri Lanka and five foreign countries, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Japan.

The Sri Lanka ladies Amateur Open Championships too will be played during this period with the Sri Lanka Seniors Championships.

With the proposed Sea Plane flights from Colombo to Lake Gregory, there will be a unprecedented holiday crowds coming to this Holiday Resort, says the Club Ever Green Secretary and a veteran planter Clive Tissera.

The championships are being jointly organised by the Sri Lanka Golf Union, and the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.
