Resolve judicial crisis amicably - GMOA

The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) requests all concerned parties to resolve the present crisis in the judiciary in a amicable and democratic manner.

In a press release issued yesterday, the GMOA stated that the public is aware of the fact that the GMOA is vigilant about the activities concerning civil society. The latest developments among the legal fraternity is quite disturbing.

"We are concerned over the present crisis in the judiciary of our country and the GMOA as a professional body requests all parties concerned to resolve this matter in a amicable and democratic manner rather than indulge in challenging the independence of the judiciary," the press release said.
