The Colombo Grand Mosque announced last evening that the Islamic holy month of Ramazan fasting will commence today. Accordingly, the first sahar end at 4.56 a.m. today and the first Ifthar will be at 6.23 p.m. on Monday, October 27. Nazushan Hassen, General Secretary of Colombo Grand Mosque stated in a press release that reliable evidence of sighting the new moon in Sri Lanka was received last evening before the decision was made by the conference. |
