Three criminals arrested by Sarath Malalasekera Three notorious criminals were arrested by a special Police team attached to the Bandaragama police on the direction of Panadura Senior SP Kithsiri Dayananda and produced before the Horana Magistrate and remanded until the completion of the investigations. Several gold chains, a toy pistol and a three wheeler, which had been used to commit the crimes were taken into custody from the possession of the suspects. The special Police team consisting SIs Kasthuriarachchi, Pathamalal, Constable Sisira, RPC Karunaratne and Grama Araksaka Nimal assisted in arresting the three suspects. They are Vilegoda Wickremage Iroshan Hemantha of Medagama, Bandaragama, Sarath Don Lakshman of Welmilla and D. L. Anura Kumara of Bandaragama. Western Province South DIG K. P. P. Pathirana is directing the investigations to ascertain whether the suspects now in custody are involved in any other crimes committed in the country. |
