Dr. Stephen R. Covey to address Businessmen and professionals today

Sri Lanka will host one of the best known leadership personalities, Dr. Stephen R. Covey today when he delivers two training sessions on leadership at the Colombo Hilton .

Stephen Covey, regarded as one of the ten most influential Americans, will meet up with more than 700 businessmen, managers and professionals. The event is organised by Dynamix International. The announcing of the 'Franklin Covey Sri Lanka', the franchise of 'Franklin Covey Company of US' will also take place during the visit.

"The response has been overwhelming. We have inquiries from doctors to IT companies. Some participants are overjoyed on the mere fact that they will get to meet the person who wrote '7 Habits'," says the CEO of Dynamix International, Ameer Ahamed. "Some use the book '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' as a personal guide and a mentor. And meeting up with the author of the book is very much anticipated."

In 2002, Forbes named The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People one of the top 10 most influential management books ever. A survey by Chief Executive Magazine recognised The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People one of the two most influential business books of the 20th century. Dr. Covey also authored the book, Principle-Centered Leadership.
